There are tons of Starbucks stores wherever we go. Just around BF Homes, there are about five branches (two along Aguirre Street; one in SM BF, Santana Grove, and Molito, respectively). Other known coffee brands are also within reach—The Coffee Project (Posadas), Figaro (San Antonio Avenue), Caffe Benne (SM BF), Bo’s (Aguirre Avenue), and Seattle’s Best (Aguirre Avenue).
I am a fan of such coffee franchise and would repetitively come over for that desired espresso cup. But it is like a breath of fresh air to have a quality coffee-experience exclusively located within the neighborhood; giving a more personalized service, less commercialized product.
No need to go far—whether you are tired after work, needs a break after school, just longing for an intimate chat with friends, or a random caffeine boost is a must… sure you will enjoy an espresso-escape right inside the village!
They all offer the same product but each store has its distinct character—from the taste and the way they present each quality beverage, their food lineup (bread, pastas, and sandwiches), unique brand concept, and creative themes.
Ready to have your caffeine-overload with these brew-boosting establishments exclusively located inside BF Homes? Here’s a quick rundown.
This artisan coffee shop vouch for customers to “experience a masterpiece in each cup”.
Windy or cold night at their veranda for a delicious mug of my traditional favorite hot latte is something to look forward to. Oh wait, the Belgian Heartbreaker is also another drink to anticipate.
Despite the occasional heavy-traffic view of Aguirre and Elizalde Streets, I consistently find solace while sitting on any of this spot as long as I have a mug in hand.
Address: #115 2/F The Prime Building Aguirre Ave, Parañaque
- Cafe Alezon (2013)
Cafe Alezon is a quaint bistro-cafe with lovely interior and almost every piece of furniture, fixture or artwork has a story (that huge Mona Lisa painting is a beauty to look at). The place is a refuge to the busy street of Tropical Avenue made catchier with the word “Turkish Coffee” flashing.
Address: #146 Tropical Avenue, BF Homes, Las Piñas
- Carpe Diem (2014)
Their tagline goes, “seize the day with good coffee and food”.
Such a relaxing nook along the loaded commute of Aguirre Street but there is calmness inside while sipping their Iced Latte.
Address: #122 Aguirre Avenue, BF Homes, Parañaque
- Paume’s Pastry House (2014)
The hand-brewed specialty coffee is worth-coming back with freshly baked pastries, pastas (love the pesto) and sandwiches (the roast beef). Good to bring along kids too because they have a small kiddie activity corner.
Address: #29 Presidents Avenue Barangay BF Homes, Parañaque
Penny Lane Coffee (2015)
Ah, memories (of Beatles, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Bob Marley). And their coffee. (Plus the bacon and waffles!)
Penny Lane is just about six weeks old yet the kind of coffee they serve is as good as the mainstream cafe.
Address: 317-A Aguirre Avenue, BF Homes, Parañaque
